Performance mit Essgelegenheit, im Rahmen der Ausstellung “sunyata, in den Raum starren”
Bei dieser Performance wurde von uns eine Buchstabensuppe gekocht und an die Besucher ausgegeben. Die Buchstaben wurden von einer vierköpfigen Fließbandeinheit in die 24 einzelnen Buchstaben getrennt. Somit konnte jeder Besucher eine mono-alphabetische Suppe bekommen. Dabei war es uns wichtig eine laborartige Situation zu schaffen. Die Sortierer waren mit Mikrofonen ausgestattet, ihr alphabetisches Gemurmel wurde auf Lautsprecher, welche an der Außenfassade montiert sind, übertragen.

Performance with an occasion to eat, in frame of the exhibition “sunyata, staring into the room”
At this performance a letter soup was cooked and given out among the audience. Four people on a band conveyer were in charge of sorting them into 24 single letters. Thus every spectator could receive a mono-alphabetic soup. We thought it was important to create an atmosphere similar to a laboratory. The four sorters were armed with microphones attached to loudspeakers on the outside facade. This enabled the audience to hear the mumbling of the alphabet.
